About six months ago, I purchased a pair of Asics sneakers from the Boyner store in Mall of Istanbul. I wore them only for light, everyday use—no sports, no harsh conditions, no impact. I took great care of them. Still, both shoes tore at the exact same spot, in the same way. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, not user damage.
I returned the shoes to the Mall of Istanbul Boyner store and waited. And waited. For nearly 3 months, I received no updates, no phone calls, no explanation. I had to follow up myself, and that’s when I found out the product was labeled as “user error.” That is simply not true, and I absolutely reject this decision.
I paid a significant amount for a premium brand expecting quality and durability. Instead, I got a defective pair of shoes and zero support. The lack of response and the dismissive outcome have caused even more frustration.
