On March 28, I purchased a pair of women’s Asics shoes from the brand’s official website for ₺3,527.37. When the size didn’t fit, I requested an exchange. That’s when I was told exchanges aren’t allowed—only returns are accepted, and I’d have to reorder the product myself.
But when I tried to buy the exact same shoe again, with the same price and discounts still visible on the website, the total at checkout was ₺3,919—significantly more than what I originally paid. I called customer service and was told the difference was due to a “first-time purchase discount,” even though I bought through the official site and created a new account.
I was also told that if I placed a first order using another account, the same discount would apply—but even then, the system still tried to charge me ₺3,919. So how does a shoe’s price increase in three days without any visible change in discount or campaign?
This feels like deliberate pricing manipulation, and Asics customer service has been no help at all. I’m now stuck without a proper-fitting shoe and forced to pay more for the exact same item.
