Defective Arzum MagiClean Neo Vacuum and Warranty Disappointment

I purchased an Arzum MagiClean Neo upright vacuum cleaner, advertised with a 3-year warranty. Initially, I noticed it lacked suction power, dismissing my concerns until my spouse pointed out that it hardly worked. Upon inspection, I found that the vacuum's brushes weren't rotating. I sent it to Arzum's technical service in Bursa, only to have it returned stating there was no issue. On the same day, faced with the same problem, I sent it back again. This time, they informed me there was a fault in the hose and demanded ₺500 to repair it, claiming it wasn't covered by warranty. I escalated to Arzum's headquarters, who assured me they would resolve the issue with the service team, but this dragged on for an extended period.

Just 15 days ago, I received a message from Arzum stating, "A spare part order has been placed for your product's repair. You will be notified when your product is ready." Yet, when I contacted the service again, they informed me that Arzum wouldn't repair the product for free. I was told by Arzum's headquarters that an inspector had rejected the repair. Arzum, despite having many competitors, I chose you solely because you are a local company. I regret that decision. You have wasted my time, treating a 65-year-old person as if they were a joke. While I can afford ₺500, you have lost all trust from me as a consumer. You have no idea what it costs to lose a consumer over such a trivial matter. Where do Arzum's principles (if any) stand compared to Robert Bosch's famous quote, "I prefer to lose money than to lose the trust of people"? You sold your product claiming a 3-year warranty, even offering extended warranty for a fee. Now, you are nowhere to be found. Shame on you. Anyone considering purchasing from Arzum should think not twice, but a thousand times. I won't even walk past Arzum's booth in the future.

I want to add a note: I am not happy to express these thoughts here. I sincerely wish Arzum had stood by its product. I have repeatedly stated that I will take my complaint to consumer rights organizations and every platform available. This is my last resort. Hopefully, the authorities will see this, and in the future, Arzum will stand behind its sales to the public. My complaint is not to discredit those at Arzum who do their jobs diligently, but to express my loss of trust and sincerity towards those who have turned a resolvable issue into an obstinate standoff.

I bought an Arzum Magiclean Neo upright rechargeable vacuum cleaner from Arzum (through Vatan Bilgisayar) on December 4, 2023. Since it arrived, the brush hasn't been rotating, so I sent it to their authorized service center, Furkan Teknik, in Bursa. They returned it saying there was nothing wrong, but the day it came back, it malfunctioned again, so I sent it back. I contacted the factory, and they said there was an error in the tube and claimed it was a user error. Despite numerous discussions where they assured me that my grievance would be resolved and even mentioned that a spare part had been ordered, the inspectors concluded that it was a user error and refused to repair or replace it. Believe me, it's been six months, and they are mocking me. The factory says okay, but the technical service says the inspector rejected it. Additionally, Furkan Teknik had asked for 500 TL for this repair, and today when I called, they asked for 970 TL. I deeply regret shopping from Arzum, a company I believe has traded its commercial trust for a small price. I have also applied to the consumer arbitration board. I seriously urge you to think carefully before shopping with this company. They do not stand behind their products nor offer solutions; they practically mock you. Due to this attitude, I especially leave the company owner to God's judgment for not seeing these customer dissatisfaction issues in his company. I also have a complaint about the "Şikayet Var" website; I made a complaint about this issue on June 12, 2024, but under my complaint, you published a complaint that has nothing to do with me or my Arzum complaint. I wonder how you managed that. I congratulate Arzum for the torment inflicted on a retired person. From now on, I won't even approach an Arzum stand, let alone enter a store that sells Arzum products.

Through Epttavm, I purchased a Kumtel MHR1800 w product with a remote control from the Teknomobilee store, but they sent a product without a remote control instead. Congratulations, what kind of negligence is this? I demand that my grievance be addressed, otherwise, I will return it immediately.

On 12.06.2024, I filed a complaint about an Arzum rechargeable vacuum cleaner. However, a completely unrelated complaint, which does not belong to me, was published under my name.

Arzum is not a member of the Şikayetvar platform. Therefore, we kindly request you to use official Arzum channels for your requests, suggestions, and complaints to be tracked and responded to as quickly as possible.
