My Apple Watch Suddenly Stopped Connecting to My Phone
My Apple Watch suddenly stopped connecting to my phone, and the software wouldn’t update. I took it to an authorized Apple service center, where they diagnosed it as a software error. They initially informed me that a free manual update would be performed to fix the issue. However, I was later contacted and told that the problem couldn’t be resolved, and the only option was a paid replacement for ₺11,400. I declined and took my device back. How can this be considered acceptable? Should it really be that difficult—or even impossible—to update the software, even if I were willing to pay? If the service center itself cannot install the latest software, how can Apple justify continuing to sell such an expensive product? I am requesting a full replacement of my watch. A software error and failure to update should not be my responsibility. If even Apple’s own service team cannot fix it, how am I supposed to have confidence in the brand?
