Apple Warranty Refusal for iPad Pro 12.9 Charging Issue
I took my iPad Pro 12.9 6th Gen to an Apple authorized service center five months before the warranty expired because it wasn’t charging. Three hours later, they told me the charging port was faulty, there was physical damage, and it was considered user error, so the repair wouldn’t be covered under warranty. They said Apple doesn’t repair iPads but offers replacements, and if I paid ₺39,000, they could give me a new one—otherwise, I could take back the broken device. This situation has left me completely let down. They refused even to offer a paid repair for the charging port. The device is still under warranty, yet it’s useless. I am filing a complaint against Apple.
