On June 14, 2026, I purchased a JBL PartyBox speaker through Amazon Prime for $300. My order still has not been shipped. The order status continues to show "Preparing for Shipment," but no actual progress has been made, and the product's price has increased since I placed my order.
I contacted Amazon customer service three times regarding this issue. I spoke with a representative named B** twice and with another female representative once. The representative identified as B** told me that the product was out of stock and claimed that my order had been canceled. I never canceled my order, yet I was told it had been canceled on Amazon's own initiative. Despite this, Amazon is still holding my payment, and my order continues to appear in the system as if it is awaiting shipment. Not only has my product not been shipped, but I have also been unable to get a clear or consistent answer from customer service.
I am not requesting a refund. I expect Amazon to honor my original purchase by shipping and delivering the JBL PartyBox at the June 14, 2026 purchase price of $300 as soon as possible. I also request a clear explanation of why I was told my order had been canceled even though it still appears as pending shipment in my account. I expect Amazon to resolve this issue promptly and fulfill my order without any further delay.
