Amazon Order Delayed And Not Shipped Despite Promised Delivery Date
On April 5, 2026, I placed an order on Amazon using my credit card for a desk chair under order number 407-6615929-3505138. At the time of purchase, the delivery date was clearly shown as Tuesday, April 9. However, I later received a notification through the website stating that the delivery had been postponed to Thursday.
After this delay, I contacted customer service to report the issue. I was told that they would send an email to the warehouse to expedite the shipment. Despite this, my order has still not been shipped. Although the system currently shows “arriving tomorrow,” it is obvious that delivery cannot happen since the item has not even been dispatched yet.
When I contacted customer support again, I was told that if I was experiencing issues with the delivery, the only thing they could do—besides emailing the warehouse—was to process a return. However, the same product is now priced more than 10% higher on the website, so returning the item would result in a financial loss for me.
I purchased this product based on the promised delivery date and have been waiting at home for days expecting the package. I request that my order be shipped immediately without further delay and delivered to me as soon as possible, and that my inconvenience be taken into consideration.
