Amazon Delivered an Empty Box Instead of My Midland Weather Radio
I recently placed an order on Amazon for a Midland crank weather radio, which I paid for myself. The package was delivered yesterday, and the tracking shows a photo of the box. However, when I opened it, the entire radio was missing from the box, and only one of the three items from my order was actually inside. I contacted Amazon customer service by phone yesterday and was able to speak with a representative, who told me to wait until 6 p.m. and call back if the item had still not arrived. After that, I have been unable to reach a human again. The system now says there will be an “investigation” that will not be completed until 5/20, but I specifically need this weather radio by Monday, so this delay is not acceptable. This is also the second time an electronic item I ordered did not arrive, which makes me very concerned about the delivery and fulfillment process being used. I request that Amazon immediately send a replacement Midland crank weather radio with the fastest available shipping so that it arrives by Monday, without making me wait for the investigation date. I would like this issue resolved urgently, as I ordered this item for a time-sensitive need and did everything correctly on my side.
It wasn't a problem with the brand it was the delivery person that took the item out of the box prior to deliver.
