After placing an order on Amazon, I decided to cancel it. When they gave me back the money I had paid, they gave me back 292 TL less. They promised to reimburse me for the shortfall, but they never did. I agreed grudgingly to their alternative proposal of making a gift certificate. Unfortunately, the gift voucher's spending limits meant I couldn't get the item I'd been eyeing. My request for a credit card refund was denied by Amazon, which claimed that the transaction could not be reversed. I was surprised that a global powerhouse like Amazon didn't have an easy answer to my problem. It's disheartening to know that their subpar customer service will prevent me from ever making another purchase from them. You really made me very angry by returning my money incompletely.
