Amazon Refund Not Processed, Only Gift Card Offered
I returned an item I bought from Amazon.com.tr, and while the return was accepted, I haven't received my refund. Despite informing customer service five times via chat, the last representative said the return couldn't be processed because the card I used isn't recognized in their system. I updated my account with the card details, but today I received an email stating they couldn't process the refund to my account and instead, it will be issued as an Amazon gift card. They mentioned this gift card can only be used for products sold directly by amazon.com.tr. I don't accept the refund as a gift card and insist on receiving the refund in Turkish Lira to my bank account. I expected better service from a reputable company like Amazon regarding returns.
