The tracking prompt for my Amazon order indicates that it was successfully delivered. When I called the customer service number and explained the situation to the representative, I was told that they needed some time to investigate the matter further. This is, of course, understandable. I concurred; however, I didn't think there would be much of a problem because I believed that they would perform some systemic checks. The true nature of the problem only became apparent when customer service did not even bother to call me several weeks later to update me on the situation. The delivery status of the package has not changed; it still indicates that it has been delivered, but I have no idea how to get either my money back or the product again.
