On October 18, 2024, I purchased the Apple USB-C USB Adapter from Amazon.com’s e-commerce site. I had been tracking the product for about a month, and with only one unit left in stock at a lower price than other marketplaces, I placed my order. The item arrived promptly the next day. However, upon opening the package, I noticed visible deformations and stains on the product’s box (Apple packaging), even though the outer shipping box was sealed and undamaged. When I opened the product box, it was empty. A friend witnessed this issue as we opened the box together. I immediately reached out to Amazon’s customer support and explained that not only was the product missing, but the condition of the box suggested it may have been previously returned. The representative assured me that Amazon does not sell second-hand products, but stated they would check camera footage and verify the package weight. After receiving no response for 2-3 months, I contacted Amazon again on October 21 and provided photos as requested. Despite assurances of a quick response, I heard nothing. I followed up again on October 28, and the representative promised to mark the issue as urgent. It has now been nearly three weeks since my initial complaint, and I have yet to receive a refund or satisfactory response. Given that I cannot replace the product at the original price I paid, I am requesting a refund of ₺819.00, deposited within 24 hours, and that Amazon compensate me for this inconvenience with a gift certificate or coupon. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be taking legal action.
