Amazon Refuses to Refund the Current Value of My Broken Baseus Power Bank
I purchased a Baseus brand power bank from the Amazon Turkey app two years ago for ₺1708.28, but the product recently broke down. I contacted Amazon Turkey on February 4, 2025, and after negotiations, they offered a refund on February 7, 2025, since the same product was no longer in stock. I explained that the refund should match the current value of the product, as I wanted to purchase the same model. The power bank, which cost ₺1708 two years ago, is now being sold for ₺4500 by the cheapest seller. I requested a refund of this updated amount or, alternatively, that they provide a higher or equivalent model. I also suggested calculating the price difference in dollars due to the product being imported and refunding the equivalent in TL. However, all my proposals were rejected, and they insisted that the original purchase amount would be refunded, citing company policy, despite how unreasonable this is under the circumstances. This has left me feeling completely mistreated. I request that a proper solution be found, whether by refunding the current product value or replacing it with the same model, so that my grievances can be addressed.
