Amazon Refused to Replace My Defective iPhone 13 Despite Clear Camera Issues
I bought an iPhone 13 128 GB from Amazon.com on 24.02.2024, hoping for a smooth experience from a well-known company. Regrettably, after approximately 5 months, I began experiencing difficulties with the camera's focus. Upon contacting Amazon customer service, they advised me to obtain a malfunction report from an authorized Apple service. After completing the necessary steps and receiving a report confirming the camera's defect, Amazon's response left much to be desired. They were unwilling to provide a replacement for the device, even though the problem was clearly a hardware defect in a brand-new phone, simply because I had declined a repair option. To make matters even more frustrating, they began coming up with excuses, such as the lack of a service stamp on the report, which they had previously claimed was unimportant. This entire process has been incredibly discouraging, with customer service that appears to be focused on prolonging and rejecting rather than assisting. I had higher expectations from a global brand like Amazon, and I am now compelled to take legal action to find a solution.
