Amazon Issued Refund as Gift Voucher Instead of Returning Money to My Card

Amazon has long been a platform where I’ve made significant purchases, and I’m a Premium member. Unfortunately, it has lost its reliability. In my most recent international purchase, the amount that should have been refunded was issued as a gift voucher. Initially, this wasn’t an issue, but when I tried to shop, I was told that I could only buy products sold by Amazon, and no transfer was made to my card. I was forced to buy products I didn’t need at a higher price, even though other sellers had them cheaper. I criticize Amazon for stumbling over small matters despite its vast resources. Once my order arrives, I will certainly cancel both my Premium and regular memberships with Amazon. Be cautious of Chinese-based sites; sadly, there are no local platforms left. Do your research—you’ll be surprised. Trendyol belongs to Alibaba, Hepsiburada was sold to Kazakhs, and AliExpress operates according to Alibaba’s demands. You can’t even return items on AliExpress, and even if you do, it takes 90 days to get a refund, even if you’re completely in the right—it’s absurd. Sadly, Amazon has also deteriorated. I forgot my password for watching films and videos, and they couldn’t provide a new one. I was told I had to call internationally, as if they had up-to-date films—meanwhile, they keep pushing 30-year-old movies, with no new content at all.
