Amazon Does Not Refund Money To My Card, Instead Offers a Gift Card

Hey folks, had an Amazon headache. Ordered on 24.10.2023, got a refund to a gift card, not my original payment card (order number 407-9016469-1245119). Now stuck, unable to transfer the cashback to my own card. Has anyone else dealt with this? I have been victimized because I cannot send my money to my own card. How is that even possible I mean, what are they trying to do? Ruin their whole reputation and be known as the brand that rips its customers off!
