Amazon Account Has Been Taken Over By Someone Else
I am writing regarding a serious security issue with my Amazon.co.uk shopping and Prime account, which appears to have been taken over by someone else. On 20 October 2026, a parcel arrived containing a cheap Chinese watch that I had not ordered. When I then tried to check my Amazon account, I saw that my email address and phone number on the account had been changed to someone else’s details, and I can no longer access my account or my balance. Whenever I attempt to log in, I am presented with the other person’s email and phone number, so I cannot reset my password, see my orders, or reach Amazon support from within the account. Because of this, I do not have the order number or case ID for the unwanted watch; all I know is that it arrived around 20 October 2026 and is worth roughly £15. I am very worried that further unauthorized orders could be placed or my data misused while I am locked out. I request that Amazon immediately investigates this account takeover, restores my full and secure access to my Amazon.co.uk shopping and Prime account, cancels and refunds any unauthorized orders including the watch that has already arrived, and confirms what measures have been taken to protect my personal data and prevent this from happening again.
