Amazon Account Hacked and Locked Out After Password and Address Change
I have been an Amazon Prime user in the USA, and on August 1, 2026 my Amazon account was hacked. The person who gained access changed my password and delivery address, so I was locked out of my own account. They attempted to place an order, but that order was cancelled by Amazon. After realizing what had happened, I contacted Amazon customer service and explained that my account had been compromised. I was told there was no phone number for the fraud department and that they would contact me, but I never received any response. I then called again and, with the help of an Amazon representative, requested that my account be closed for security reasons. Despite this, my account was apparently not properly closed. Since then I have repeatedly tried to reach Amazon to resolve the issue and re-establish my account in good standing, but I am locked out and cannot contact anyone. My calls do not get properly connected, and I am concerned that my number or account may have been blocked. At the same time, I am unable to open a new account, so I am effectively prevented from using Amazon services. I request that my situation be urgently reviewed, that the security breach on my old account be fully investigated, and that I be allowed to open and use an Amazon account again without restrictions. I also ask to receive clear written confirmation about the status of my previous account and any security measures taken, so that I can be sure my personal data is protected.
