Yesterday, I tried to make a purchase through what I thought was the official Alo Yoga website. My first attempt failed, so I tried again the next day. This time, the payment went through—but when I checked my card activity, I saw a suspicious charge of $129.71 from an entity called "Yuanshu Business". That immediately raised red flags, and I realized the website I used was a fraudulent clone of Alo Yoga’s site.
I contacted my bank right away, had my virtual card blocked, and was told I couldn’t file a dispute yet because the transaction was still pending. I now have to wait until the charge is finalized just to begin the dispute process. This whole experience has left me extremely concerned—not only about my own security, but about how easily scammers are exploiting Alo Yoga’s brand.
What’s worse is that this fake website appeared at the top of Google search results, without any indication that it was unsafe. There were no warnings, and it looked just like the real thing. From what I’ve read, this isn’t even the first time people have been tricked by copycat sites impersonating Alo Yoga.
Why hasn’t Alo Yoga taken stronger action against this ongoing issue? This is a major cybersecurity failure that’s causing real financial damage to your customers. I urge Alo Yoga to improve their online security, take down these fake websites, and publicly inform shoppers how to avoid falling into the same trap. I want my money returned and others protected from the same scam.
