I Got Charged More Than the Tag Price at Alo Yoga Emaar Store

On May 15, I visited the Alo Yoga store at Emaar Square and purchased a cropped sweatshirt. The price tag clearly stated ₺4,430, yet when I checked my receipt afterward, I saw that I was charged a shocking ₺5,830 instead—₺1,400 more than the listed price!
This isn’t a small oversight. It feels like outright deception and disrespect toward loyal customers. It’s unacceptable that a premium brand like Alo Yoga allows this kind of shady pricing practice. It’s even more disappointing that the store staff were complicit—they didn’t mention a price difference or offer any explanation. This implies that the overcharging might be intentional and part of the way they operate.
As customers, we expect transparency and integrity, not to be treated like we don’t matter. I want an immediate refund of the overcharged amount, and I urge Alo Yoga to review the pricing policies at their physical locations. If I hadn’t checked the tag against my receipt, I would’ve unknowingly overpaid. How many others are being overcharged without realizing?
