Unfair Interest Charged By Akbank for Payment Date Selection

On 02.09.2025, I took out a consumer loan of ₺120,000 via Akbank mobile banking and selected the 7th of each month as my payment date. However, due to a difference of only five days, I was charged an additional interest of ₺1,034.80, with no prior information provided during the loan application or payment date selection process. I have been an Akbank customer for over 10 years, and I have never encountered such a practice with any other bank. I find this situation incompatible with customer satisfaction. Although I contacted customer service, no solution was offered. I request a refund of this unfair and excessive interest. My customer number is 19359502, and my application number is 796371994. I also note that this is the first time I have experienced such an issue. Unless my problem is resolved and the practice of charging additional interest due to payment date selection is corrected, I regret to state that I will be closing my two credit cards with your bank, as I am deeply disappointed. I present this matter to the attention of the public and Akbank officials.
