My Airbnb Host Canceled My ₺8,700 Datça Booking for One Night and Relisted for ₺12,300

I booked a rooftop apartment in central Datça through Airbnb for ₺8,700 per night—a premium price considering that no meals or amenities were included. Despite the high cost, I agreed to the one-night stay. However, the host canceled my reservation simply because I was staying for just one night. They refunded the amount, but the cancellation was clearly not due to availability or technical error—it was because the host didn’t “like” that I booked a single night.
It’s deeply frustrating to see that immediately after canceling my reservation, the same listing was relisted for ₺12,300 per night. Clearly, the host canceled me in hopes of charging someone else more. This is not only unethical but also deeply disrespectful to paying guests.
And then these same hosts complain that "tourism is dying"—yet they treat guests who are willing to pay full price like they're disposable. I find this behavior completely unacceptable. I’ve already reported the incident to Airbnb and expect them to investigate this pricing manipulation and discriminatory cancellation.
I urge Airbnb to take appropriate action against hosts who cancel confirmed stays for profit-driven reasons. My booking was legitimate, and I demand accountability.
