I rented a villa through Airbnb, and despite being warned about the low pool temperature, the real issue unfolded upon arrival. The pool heating plug was completely pulled out and malfunctioning. When I raised my concern, the host's response was dismissive, suggesting I leave if I wasn't satisfied. I traveled with my partner and children, making the situation even more frustrating. To add to the chaos, the power went out four times the next day.
After checking out, I filled out an experience questionnaire on the app. The host, angered by my feedback, falsely claimed I caused damage to the house. He accused me of things I didn't do and demanded a fee of 11,000 ₺ for alleged house damage through the app. However, I certainly did not damage the house, and the claim of smoking inside is a blatant lie. I have a small child; why would I smoke indoors?
In response, I left a review expressing my dissatisfaction with the service and lodged a complaint through the app. Unbelievably, the host retaliated with a complaint of his own, slapping me with a fee for something I did not do. I refuse to pay for an unjust accusation.
