I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding two recent Airbnb bookings—reservation codes hmwkwht4fq and hm3scxmwhn. Not only did these cancellations completely disrupt my vacation plans, but they also left me with unexpected financial strain due to decisions made without my consent.
First, my initial reservation (hmwkwht4fq) was canceled by the host just two days before check-in due to a technical issue with the property. Airbnb issued a credit, which I combined with an additional payment to secure a new reservation (hm3scxmwhn). Unfortunately, this second booking was also canceled, and a refund was processed without my approval, leaving me in an incredibly difficult position to rebook at the last minute.
Because Airbnb’s refund process can take up to 20 days, my credit card balance wasn’t enough to cover another reservation, forcing me to take out a loan.
