On October 19, 2024, I made a reservation through Airbnb. Last night, the host messaged me with the property details and location. However, this morning, I noticed the reservation had been canceled. When I contacted the host, they claimed the cancellation came from my side, but I did not cancel the reservation.
To make matters worse, I was unable to access my Airbnb account. When I eventually regained access, my account had been reset. All my previous reservations and payment history were gone. I’ve been using Airbnb since 2020, and this situation is unacceptable.
Airbnb’s live support has been unhelpful, and their responses through messaging are inadequate. They are incorrectly insisting that I was not the primary person who made the reservation. I have all the proof, including reservation details, the confirmation code, and payment receipts.
I demand Airbnb resolves this immediately by restoring my account and honoring my reservation. Ignoring loyal customers in this manner is unacceptable. Please address this issue promptly.
