I purchased an Air France flight ticket through Obilet, entering my full name correctly: first name P, last name J*. However, when the ticket was issued, my name appeared incorrectly as Pj*** (merged) and my surname as A, which I never submitted. This was clearly a system or employee error on Obilet’s side, not mine.
I arrived at the airport three hours before departure, but Air France staff denied me boarding, explaining that my ticket name didn’t match my passport. They told me only the issuing agency (Obilet) could correct the name. I tried contacting Obilet multiple times, but received no assistance. As a result, I missed my flight and had to return home in tears. My 10-day vacation was ruined.
What’s worse, my return ticket still shows the wrong name, and I was forced to buy another ticket—causing me serious financial and emotional distress.
I am demanding:
A full refund for the unusable outbound flight,
An immediate correction of the name on my return ticket.
This entire situation is Obilet’s responsibility, and any attempt to shift the blame onto me is unacceptable. I expect this issue to be resolved immediately.
