Disastrous Experience With AJet!

Disastrous experience with AJet! We purchased a plane ticket 6 months in advance on an English-language website. As French speakers, we didn’t notice that the first and last names of one traveler were switched. The next day, we contacted the online travel agency, which redirected us to AJet. Two weeks of struggle: 20+ emails to GoToGate, 7 calls to GoToGate, 3 calls to AJet, 15 feedback forms sent to AJet, a passport photo sent, a third-party fraud attempt. Finally, the agency agreed to submit a name correction request to AJet… but AJet REFUSED. They told us we had to buy a new ticket for over $600! We repeatedly asked if this minor mistake would be accepted at boarding. AJet never answered. Their only response? Pay again. The same issue happened with Air Transat—resolved in 5 minutes, for free, in a single call. AJet’s customer service is disappointing, their care for passengers is lacking, and the experience was unnecessarily expensive. We definitely do not recommend this airline.
