Air Arabia Approved My Baggage Claim but Never Paid Me

July 5 5:31 PM

Following my Air Arabia flight on February 7, 2026, I collected my checked baggage at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and discovered that it had been damaged and cracked during transit. I immediately contacted Air Arabia, and after reviewing my claim, the airline informed me that I would receive compensation of up to $60. I accepted this offer and completed all of the required banking and payment information through the official link provided by the airline.

It has now been approximately six weeks, and I still have not received the promised payment. During this time, I discovered that the email addresses previously used for communication were no longer active, making it impossible to follow up on my claim. Despite numerous attempts to contact Air Arabia through the available channels, I have received no response. My baggage damage claim reference number is 16453026.

I request that Air Arabia promptly transfer the $60 compensation that was officially approved by email to my Garanti BBVA bank account in Turkey. If this matter is not resolved without further delay, I will pursue my legal rights by filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I expect this long-overdue compensation to be paid immediately.
