I flew with Air Arabia on May 18, 2025, flight number G9 285, from Sharjah to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Upon arrival, I discovered that my checked-in luggage had been severely damaged. The wheel was broken and the body of the suitcase was visibly cracked, making it completely unusable.
The damage significantly disrupted my travel, and I immediately contacted Air Arabia’s support team via email the very next day. I attached detailed photos of the damaged suitcase, as well as my boarding pass and baggage tag number (033823) to support my claim. Despite providing all necessary documentation, I have yet to receive any response.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. The airline has a responsibility to handle luggage with care and to respond promptly to valid damage claims. I’m requesting a replacement for my unusable luggage or fair financial compensation for the loss.
I urge Air Arabia to take accountability and resolve this matter as soon as possible. My patience is running thin, and if I don’t hear back soon, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue through official consumer protection channels.
