Waiting 7 Months for My Baggage Compensation: Air Albania!

On July 2nd, 2024, I traveled with Air Albania on flight ZB1004 from Istanbul (IST) to Tirana (TIA). Upon arrival, I noticed that my baggage was delivered to me in a damaged condition. On the same day, a damage report was filed at the Lost and Found Office at Mother Teresa Tirana International Airport. The reference number of the report is TIAZB12664/01JUL24/23266M. I have contacted Air Albania nine times (and I'm not joking) via email regarding the damage to my baggage. Unfortunately, I have received no response from the airline, and no steps have been taken to resolve my issue. This has created an ongoing inconvenience, and there is still no solution in sight. In previous updates, I was informed that my case had been forwarded to the finance department for processing. However, more than 7 months (and I’m not kidding) have passed since my compensation was approved, and the only response I received was a vague statement that my case is with the finance department. This situation needs to be clarified and resolved. Typically, compensation claims like this are expected to be processed within 4 to 8 weeks, but no substantial progress has been made in such a long period. I am expecting an explanation regarding the reason for this delay and why a clear resolution has not been provided. I wrote to the Civil Aviation Authority of Air Albania, but my complaint was not even taken seriously. Air Albania has really failed in this regard.
