On July 2, 2024, I flew with Air Albania flight ZB1004 from Istanbul (IST) to Tirana (TIA). Upon arrival, I discovered that my baggage was severely damaged. That same day, I filed a damage report at the Lost & Found Office at Tirana Mother Teresa International Airport (Reference: TIAZB12664/01JUL24/23266M).
Since then, I have emailed Air Albania nine times—yes, nine times—and have received no response whatsoever. My compensation request was approved over 7 months ago, yet all I have been told is that my case is “with the finance department”. This is beyond unacceptable.
Typically, compensation claims are resolved within 4 to 8 weeks, but Air Albania has done nothing to fix this issue. I even contacted the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority, but they didn’t take my complaint seriously.
I demand immediate action and a clear resolution—where is my compensation? Air Albania, stop ignoring your passengers and fulfill your obligations!
