Air Albania Delayed Flight 1018 by 7 Hours and Still Hasn’t Refunded ₺1600 Expenses

On August 7, 2025, I was scheduled to fly with Air Albania on flight 1018 from Ankara to Tirana. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed for seven full hours. During this time, no proper announcements or updates were made at the airport, and we were left waiting without food or water for an extremely long period. Communication with airline staff was very difficult, and late at night we were finally told that we could purchase food at the airport café and submit the receipt by email to Air Albania for reimbursement.

As instructed, we bought meals for two people and paid a total of ₺1600 with a credit card. We submitted the receipt to Air Albania as directed, but to this day, we have not received any reimbursement. Beyond the financial loss, this lengthy delay completely disrupted our travel plans. Our tour program in Albania was ruined, and we lost the opportunity to explore the country as intended.

I am demanding full reimbursement of the ₺1600 expense, as well as proper compensation for the serious inconvenience and lost travel opportunities caused by this unacceptable delay. Air Albania must contact me directly using my provided contact information and resolve this issue without further delay.
