I Face 7.5 Hour Delay With Air Albania Flight ZB1016 From Izmir To Tirana

On September 7, I purchased a ticket with reservation number 37487249 for Air Albania flight ZB1016 from Izmir to Tirana. Although the scheduled departure time was 04:20, we were instructed to be at the airport at least three hours earlier. As a result, I arrived at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport around 01:00. Without any proper announcement, the flight was first delayed from 04:20 to 08:20, forcing me to wait approximately 7.5 hours in total at the airport.

During this entire period, Air Albania failed to provide any assistance—no refreshments, no accommodation, and no official communication about the cause of the delay. I attempted to reach customer service multiple times, but my calls and inquiries went unanswered. I lost the first day of my holiday sitting in the airport and was further inconvenienced by the excessively high food and beverage prices there, which I had to cover myself due to the lack of airline support.

I am requesting reimbursement for the expenses I had to incur during this delay, along with fair compensation for the disruption. At the very least, I expect Air Albania to issue an apology and acknowledge the inconvenience caused by their lack of service and communication.
