I Face 6.5 Hour Delay On Air Albania Flight ZB1018 From Ankara To Tirana

On June 29, 2024, I was scheduled to fly with Air Albania on direct flight ZB1018 from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Tirana. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a long and exhausting ordeal. First, the flight was delayed by 5 hours and 15 minutes, and then an additional 1.5 hours was added to the delay. As of now, we have been waiting for more than 6.5 hours with no confirmed departure.
During this entire delay, no refreshments, food, or assistance were provided by the airline. The only explanation we were given was “bad weather conditions,” but no further details were shared. Passengers, including myself, have been left hungry, tired, and frustrated. Attempts to reach customer service were unsuccessful—there was no one to speak with directly, and the only vague response we received was that “the plane is on its way.”
Because we were forced to cover our own food and drink expenses throughout this waiting period, we expect fair compensation. I am requesting either a refund of my ticket (No. 1017) or full reimbursement for the additional costs I incurred during the long delay. Air Albania should take responsibility for the hardship caused to its passengers.
