Agoda Booking Canceled by Hotel Demanding Extra Payment
After booking a hotel through Agoda, I received a call from the hotel just an hour later, informing me that the price had increased by €20. They stated that my reservation would be canceled if I didn’t pay the extra amount. I refused to pay the additional fee, as I had already paid the agreed amount through Agoda.
The hotel claimed they could not cancel the booking on their end and told me to contact Agoda. However, despite hours of effort, I was unable to reach Agoda’s customer service for assistance. As a result, I was left without accommodation and had to stay elsewhere.
I request that Agoda resolve this issue immediately, provide a refund, and ensure better communication and support. My booking ID is 1457982220. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
