Agoda Booking at Roomers Nişantaşı Was Canceled Last Minute and Room Was Filthy
I made my most recent reservation through Agoda at Roomers Nişantaşı, and it turned into a complete nightmare. Just hours before check-in, the hotel called my personal phone to say they were undergoing renovations and would be canceling my reservation. They told me I couldn’t cancel through Agoda and that I was free to file a complaint if I wanted. So, I found and paid for another place to stay. But then—after I had already made alternate arrangements—they called again to apologize and claimed the renovations would be postponed until the next day.
When I arrived at the hotel anyway, they gave me room 16. But when I reached the door, it was wide open, the bed was unmade, and the room was clearly used and dirty. Despite their 24-hour check-in policy, they tried to check me into a room that hadn’t been cleaned. I was told housekeeping would be “woken up,” but no one ever came. I was offered a refund but no actual solution.
To make things worse, I was told they had no other rooms available besides the filthy one. This entire experience was unprofessional and unacceptable.
This was my first time using Agoda, and I’m incredibly disappointed. The hotel misled me, then failed to prepare a clean room, and finally passed responsibility to Agoda without resolving anything. Agoda, I’m requesting a full refund and formal follow-up, and I urge you to review your partnership with Roomers Nişantaşı. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with this kind of treatment.
