My Agoda Reservation Was Cancelled by the Hotel After My Date Change Request
I made two accommodation reservations on the Agoda website. One of them was for a recent date so I did not have the opportunity to cancel or change the date. However, I applied for a free cancellation with a date change 3 days ago for the other reservation, which was for accommodation number 1612918488. I also stated the reason to the hotel. But the hotel did not respond to the requests. They rejected the night I was supposed to stay. Because they wanted to pocket the fee. I could not reach Agoda customer service. They do not have a phone number with a Türkiye code anyway. I could not call the other numbers. The hotel then cancelled the reservation on its own and most likely rented out my room that night. I had to force my way through customer service and they kept saying there was nothing they could do. I was not helped at all and the hotel was not reached.
