My Adidas Niteball Shoes Tore Despite Careful Use and Got Rejected as “User Error”

Six months ago, I purchased a pair of Adidas Niteball sneakers from the M1 SuperStep store. Recently, I noticed tearing on the left side of the shoe, which I believe is due to a clear manufacturing defect, not misuse. I had taken exceptional care of the shoes, even using the official Adidas cleaning foam I bought from the same store.
When I submitted the shoes for inspection under reference SUP831909, I was shocked to hear the complaint was rejected and blamed on “user error.” That response is completely unacceptable. The shoes were worn carefully and rarely, yet still showed signs of tearing far too quickly for a premium product.
I chose Adidas and paid above-market price expecting superior quality and customer service. Instead, I’m now dealing with a torn shoe and a company that won’t stand behind its own product. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing to see a globally recognized brand dismiss a valid quality issue so easily.
