Adidas Terrex Skychaser GTX Smart Laces Broke After Three Weeks
On September 7, 2025, the smart laces on the Adidas Terrex Skychaser GTX w (38, black) outdoor shoes I purchased from the Boyner Serdivan Shopping Mall store peeled and broke after just three weeks of use. I was disappointed to experience this problem despite using the product for a short time and with care. The original replacement part for the laces is not available on the market or at Adidas retailers. Therefore, I took the product to the Boyner Serdivan Shopping Mall store, submitted my complaint, and returned the product for inspection. However, approximately two weeks later, I was informed that the problem was "user error," and that no refund or repair would be possible. The product was returned without any action. I do not accept this approach; the damage to the product in such a short time should be considered a manufacturing defect. I request that the laces be replaced. If this is not possible, I request a replacement. Since the original replacement part is not available, I expect my complaint to be resolved. Although I purchased the product as part of Boyner's 50% discount on a second product campaign, I believe my warranty rights are still valid.
