Adidas Rejected My Son’s Shoe Warranty Claim—Unfair "User Error" Excuse
On January 14, I purchased a pair of Adidas shoes for my 8-year-old son from Sporthink. After just 16 days of occasional wear (only 10 school days), the laces’ stitching began to fray, so I sent them in for an inspection.
To my surprise, Adidas denied my claim, blaming it on "user error." This makes absolutely no sense—how can an 8-year-old cause such damage in just over two weeks? Even more absurd, the shoes don’t even have laces—they are Velcro!
I have attached the response I received from Adidas, and I demand a proper explanation. Adidas, stand behind your products and offer a fair resolution! Ignoring valid quality concerns damages your reputation. I expect a response immediately!
