Defective Battery on Acer Aspire 7 A715-43G Laptop Not Covered By Warranty
I purchased the Acer Aspire 7 A715-43G laptop from Amazon 9 months ago. While I am satisfied with its performance, I've encountered difficulties with the service and availability of replacement parts. Living in Antalya, the service center being in Istanbul poses a challenge for shipping the laptop without damage in its original box.
Due to extended service times, I opted not to utilize the warranty service. Instead, after 9 months, I requested a replacement battery from Acer, as the current one is faulty. However, I was informed of an average waiting time of 2.5 months as they have no stock.
As if that wasn't enough, they are selling the battery for ₺13,000, while it is available on Aliexpress for ₺1,300, albeit without shipping. The laptop was last sold for ₺18,000. These issues with obtaining replacement parts and the exorbitant prices have led me to leave this note for potential buyers.
I've read some complaints from other users who faced similar service problems. Their cases were dismissed as user errors, and the devices were returned. Similar issues are also being discussed in some foreign forums. It seems plausible that the battery might suddenly fail.
