Academia.edu Unauthorized Subscription Charge Issue

I am writing regarding an unauthorized paid subscription charge made by Academia.edu on my account. On 28.06.2026, a total of ₺3,108 was withdrawn from my Yapı Kredi Visa bank card for a paid subscription that I did not knowingly start or approve. This payment appeared completely without my knowledge or consent. After noticing the transaction, I submitted a request to Academia.edu for an explanation and a refund, but I have not received any response so far. The lack of feedback despite my request has increased my loss of trust in the platform. I request that this unauthorized subscription be canceled immediately, the money charged to my Yapı Kredi Visa bank card on 28.06.2026 be fully refunded, and I be informed in writing about how such an unauthorized transaction could occur on my account.
