Academia.edu Took 3.000₺ Without Consent Despite Previous Refund

I recently created a new membership on Academia.edu, but on 31 July, 3.000₺ was withdrawn from my bank account without any warning or my approval. I canceled the membership the same day and contacted the support team multiple times via email. Previously, there had also been an unauthorized charge of 271₺, which was refunded. However, this time the company has responded inconsistently, saying that “no refunds will be issued,” which is unacceptable. As a student, this situation has placed me under serious financial pressure, and I feel deeply misled by the platform. I demand the immediate refund of the unauthorized 3.000₺ taken from my account and the permanent cancellation of my membership. I am prepared to proceed with a chargeback process through my bank if this issue is not resolved promptly. I am also filing this complaint to ensure that others do not face the same problem. Academia.edu must take responsibility and comply with fair consumer practices.
