10 Minute English Charges $49 Annual Fee Without Consent
I signed up for the 10 Minute English app because of its free trial offer. However, without giving my consent or receiving clear and explicit information about the renewal, I was automatically charged $49 on my TEB credit card on the evening of May 20, 2026, for a one-year subscription after the trial period ended.
I did not see any clear, explicit, or prominent information in any agreement, on-screen notice, or informational text stating that I would be automatically charged for an annual subscription in this manner. My consent was also not obtained before the transaction was processed. After the payment was taken, I tried to get assistance through the app and the available customer service channels, but I have been unable to reach anyone or find an appropriate representative who can assist me.
I request that the $49 annual subscription fee charged without my consent or adequate prior notice be canceled and that the full amount be refunded to my TEB credit card. I also request that my subscription be terminated immediately without any additional fees, deductions, or contractual obligations.
The email address registered to my 10 Minute English account is: c*******@gmail.com.
