Zen Diamond Baguette Ring Stone Fell Out Twice - Defective Product Issue

I purchased a baguette diamond ring from Zen Diamond, and within the first few months one of the stones fell out. I’ve been extremely careful with the ring — it was never dropped or hit against any surface. Despite this, when I sent it in for repair, I was told it was “user damage” and was asked to pay for the repair. After insisting and going through a long process, the ring was finally repaired free of charge. However, just one year later, the exact same stone fell out again from the exact same place! This clearly shows that the issue is due to a manufacturing or quality defect, not user error. A stone coming loose twice from the same spot indicates a structural or production flaw, not misuse. Despite this, Zen Diamond once again claimed it was “consumer fault” and demanded ₺7000 for repair. Moreover, the store representative, Ms. E***, spoke in a rather dismissive tone and said, “We usually see this problem with our teacher customers.” As a teacher, I find this comment highly inappropriate. I work with my hands to write, not to do heavy labor. It is completely unreasonable to link such a product defect to a person’s profession. A reputable brand like Zen Diamond should stand behind its products and its customers. The same stone falling out twice is a clear sign of a manufacturing defect, not user negligence. I expect my ring to be repaired free of charge under warranty and for the brand to demonstrate a customer-oriented, trustworthy attitude. If necessary, I will take this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the Consumer Court. I want potential customers to be aware of this experience. According to Articles 8 and 11 of the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, a repeated defect of the same kind is legally classified as a defective product (“ayıplı mal”). Therefore, I formally request a positive response to my Complaint for Defective Product Due to Repeated Stone Loss and Free Repair Request.
