Benetton Shoulder Bag Peeling After Minimal Use - Refund Request



On 06.09.2025, I purchased a Benetton brand shoulder bag and although I used the bag fewer than four times and did not even have it for a full month, the side and edge areas began to peel. I reported the issue to the store before the first month after purchase had passed, and on 02.10.2025 the product was sent in for inspection and replacement under warranty; however, on 18.10.2025 I was informed that the issue was considered “user error.” I absolutely do not accept this evaluation. If the handle of the bag had broken or the zipper had malfunctioned, I could understand this being considered user-related; however, the peeling of the bag’s surface after such minimal use is clearly not a user error. I strongly believe that the product has a manufacturing or material defect. I paid ₺2,246 for this bag, and if I had used the product for a long time and the problem had appeared later, I might have considered myself partly at fault, but I cannot accept being held responsible for a defect that appeared after such a short period of use. This situation is unfair and has caused me significant inconvenience as a consumer, and therefore I request a refund of the product price of ₺2,246.
