Zara cancels the order despite the fact that the product is in stock
Yesterday, I placed an order for a pair of pants from the Zara mobile app during their sale season. The item was available in stock, so I was super stoked about it! But then I received an e-mail saying that my order had been changed. When I checked, they told me that the pants were no longer available and had been returned to them. So I contacted their live support team and they explained to me the clause in their contract that allows Zara the right to return and exchange any products at any time. However, this isn't really suitable for a global brand like Zara. It's not fair that they made such a decision without informing me first! I'd like to recommend that everyone be extra cautious when shopping with Zara – even if the product you want is still in stock, make sure you check your orders regularly so you don't get caught off guard by these kind of changes. As someone who loves shopping with Zara, it was really disappointing to find out my purchase wasn't going ahead after all! It would have been nice if they'd let me know beforehand or given me more notice instead of simply changing/cancelling my order without warning.
