Yapi Kredi Bank Address Change Blocks and Customer Service Issues
I moved to Finland two years ago but my Yapi Kredi account is still active. My card is expiring soon, and despite two attempts, they keep sending my new card to my old address in Turkey, where I no longer reside. I used to live in Göktürk, and that's where my main branch is located. My address is still registered there. I tried to change my address online, but the platform only allows changes within Turkey, not for international addresses. When I contacted Yapi Kredi Bank, they stated that I could only update my address over the phone and I'd have to cover the cost of the call. Why should a simple address change result in charges on my phone bill? As a customer, I believe this call should be toll-free, or at least, I should be able to change my address via email. I'm disappointed in Yapi Kredi Bank because this situation is preventing me from receiving my card, leaving me in a tough spot here in Finland!
