Xiaomi Watch S5 Cannot Detect My Wrist Because of a Tattoo

I purchased a Xiaomi Watch S5 smartwatch from the official Xiaomi store. However, because of a tattoo on my wrist, the watch is unable to properly detect skin contact. Even while the device is securely worn on my wrist, it continuously behaves as though it has been removed, causing several core features and sensors to function incorrectly or become unavailable.
Before purchasing this device, I used an Apple Watch on the same wrist and directly over the same tattoo for an extended period without experiencing any detection, sensor, or usability issues. The problem only appeared after switching to the Xiaomi Watch S5, and it has had a significant negative impact on my daily user experience.
At no point during the purchase process was I informed that the watch might have limitations when used by individuals with wrist tattoos. Had such a restriction been clearly disclosed, I would have been able to make a more informed purchasing decision. Because the device cannot reliably perform its intended functions under normal daily use, I am unable to fully benefit from the product.
I respectfully request that Xiaomi evaluate this issue as a significant usability limitation for tattooed users and approve my unconditional return request. I also encourage Xiaomi to provide clearer information regarding any sensor-related limitations so that future customers can make informed decisions before purchasing the product.
