I recently purchased the Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 Active, hoping it would complement my active lifestyle. As someone who exercises and walks frequently, I expected the watch to automatically detect and track my movements. Unfortunately, it fails to do so, even for basic activities like walking.
Initially, it would detect movements after a delay, but now it doesn’t work at all. I have to input all activities manually, which defeats the purpose of having a smart watch. This has been extremely disappointing, and I can’t recommend this product to anyone considering buying it.
I request Xiaomi to address this issue immediately, either through a software fix or by offering a replacement. A product at this level should deliver on its promises.
